School programs and individual youth come to the Edge to meet requirements for achieving all levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. We help students in the area of Adventurous Travel and the Residential Project for students working towards their gold award. Print the PDF.
Customized Duke of Edinburgh experiences are available any season and can include hiking expeditions, canoeing in Algonquin Park, sea kayaking on Georgian Bay and winter snowshoe and cross country ski trips. Youth help plan major components of the trips including the meal plan, travel routes and lesson plans. View a sample Duke of Edinburgh itinerary.
Along with customized experiences created for your school group we offer scheduled expeditions where individual Duke of Edinburgh students participate from around the country.
